Purpose of the Position:
The Weekend Resident Services Assistant generously greets and serves a variety of support duties from simple to moderately complex. This person will be a point of contact for customers, visitors and occasionally staff providing assistance as needed. There are routine duties as well as some non-routine tasks. The successful person in this position will be personable, dependable, and passionate about serving our residents and guests.

Administrative office tasks: Answer phone lines for front office. May prepare routine administrative documents. May prepare and maintain reports for managers. Make copies, sort or distribute information related to the senior living community. |

Act as contact person to residents, members, visitors and occasionally staff extending high level of customer service whenever possible or appropriate. This may include offering promotional information for Pacific Springs including courtesy mini-tour. May assist with special events as needed or requested. |

Operate various computer programs to support accurate record keeping and/or information necessary for the smooth operation of the location. This may include simple to moderately complex applications such as data base, letters, memos, etc. |

Complete other duties as requested or appropriate. |
Nature and scope of the Position: The Resident Services Assistant acts as a front line contact for visitors, residents, and occasionally staff during weekend hours; directing or serving them appropriately, handling most routine or minor issues and directing others as needed. The individual may support one or more executive and provide assistance as needed with the administrative tasks of the location. This work involves several related or sequential steps requiring recognition of the existence of and differences between existing procedures and similar situations. It is usually well defined but allows for some flexibility in application. Work receives close supervision; supervisor provides guidance on matters not specifically covered by established procedures and moderate opportunity to vary work steps, prioritizing or in deciding appropriate methods to achieve objectives. The position has frequent contact and interaction with residents, families, potential customers and vendors and is expected to perform at the highest levels of customer service, dignity, compassion and respect in all situations exhibiting high energy, ability to be self motivated and responsible at all times.
Education and Experience: Current high school or equivalent is desired. 1-2 years of general and related work experience is desired. Word and Excel software experience is required.
