Immanuel, founded in 1887 by Pastor Fogelstrom and five deaconesses were guided by a mission statement that emphasized ’works of mercy’. In the 1890’s this mission was translated into programs and buildings which served the sick, the elderly and orphans.

In the 21st century Immanuel Health Systems continues to serve seniors through our Retirement Communities, AgeWell and Lifeline. For over 110 years, Immanuel has designed and delivered outstanding services to seniors at every stage of retirement. Immanuel provides a secure, carefree lifestyle, a sense of community and exceptional programs and services all based on a total wellness philosophy.

Immanuel Health Systems is dedicated to improving the health of the communities we serve by utilizing our senior living services and building upon our relationship with our healthcare partner and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, Nebraska Synod.
