* Part-time Schedule: Fridays rotate between 3pm to 6pm and 3pm to 11pm (you would be doing this every Friday - 1 Friday you would work 3pm to 6pm and then next 3pm to 11pm and continue to rotate) AND Saturdays 3pm to 11pm weekly

Adolescent dual diagnosis treatment group home is looking for an entry-level part-time Assistant Counselor(s)/Psych Tech to interview and begin paid training immediately. ABH is looking for dependable, stable and committed adults to work with and role model to an adolescent popultation. An appropriate applicant will have a strong sense of professional and personal boundaries.  The program is highly structured and ability to follow a schedule and assert yourself is a must! This is a direct care Bachelor's level position, BUT if you don't have a degree you can substitute this with a full 4 years of relevant work in Human Services related positions.  Relevant work that could be substituted for a degree would be: direct work with adolescents, work in adolescent group home settings or drug & alcohol clientele).

In this type of position your job would include: supervision of 16 youth (12 males; 4 girls) with the help of 2 to 3 other coworkers; teaching basic social skills and positive peer interactions; supervising chores and daily responsibilities; teaching basic independent living skills; helping with recreational and social skills groups; providing youth with natural & logical consequences for misbehavior; teaching youth how to live in a prosocial manner; etc.  The weekends are more relaxed with more 1:1 interaction with the youth while you are playing games, helping with homework or treatment work.

Training will begin Immediately! 

As a part-time staff member you would have the ability to pickup additional on-call type hours if interested.  

Other requirements include the applicant must be 21 years of age and pass all background checks and pre-employment physical. 

The part-time position HOURLY RATE is $9 to $11 per hour depending on education and experience levels. This type of position will not exceed $11 per hour due to being an entry-level position.  Weekend differential of $.25/hour paid for part-time employees. Benefits also include paid training at $7.25 per hour.
