Who is YORK Label?
YORK Label is the combination of two very successful and well-established companies in the label printing industry; York Label Holdings, Inc. and Industrial Label Corporation. The two companies were purchased by Wind Point Partners and merged on March 17, 2006. They now form YORK Label, a Top-10 pressure sensitive label provider that serves as a solid platform for tremendous future growth. On November 10, 2006, YORK Label acquired LSK Label Co. LSK is located in El Dorado Hills California, and is a major supplier to the wine, food and beverage industries. On December 4, 2006 YORK Label acquired a location in Asheville, North Carolina from Quality Assured Label. The former York Label Holdings was founded in 1947, and is based in York, Pennsylvania. The York facility is a leading manufacturer of pressure sensitive labels used in consumer products, entertainment, direct mail, and healthcare markets. The former ILC was founded in 1961, and has two facilities based in Omaha, NE along with the YORK Label corporate office. The largest customers of the Omaha facilities are those in the food, beverage and consumer products industries. Founded in 1974, LSK has become a key label supplier to the wine, food and beverage industries, and has undergone tremendous growth within the past three years.
