Our Mission
NOVA, a therapeutic community with programs for chemical
abuse/misuse, addictions, personality disorders, and
adolescent
behavioral disorders, is committed to fostering personal
growth. This is
accomplished by changing an individual’s lifestyle through a
community
of concerned people working together to help themselves and
each other.
Community Profile
NOVA, an acronym that stands for New Options, Values and
Achievements,
was founded in 1981 while under the auspices of the Eastern
Nebraska
Human Services Agency. In 1984, NOVA divested from ENHSA and
incorporated as a free-standing, non-profit organization.
NOVA is licensed by the Nebraska Department of Health and
certified by
the Division on Alcohol and Drug Abuse and Addiction Services.
NOVA has developed innovative adult and adolescent programs to serve
individuals over the age of 13 years who have successfully completed a
substance abuse treatment.
NOVA employees enjoy a challenging, creative work environment as well as
the benefits you would expect from a leader in the mental health field.
