 We are looking for a pharmacist to work 2 days per week to join our staff.  The primary responsibilities are: delivery of comprehensive pharmaceutical care which includes but is not limited to the following: accurate filling of prescriptions, resolving issues involving dosages appropriateness of therapy, answering questions from providers, ancillary staff and patients, counseling patients regarding the proper use of the prescribed medications, assures compliance with state and federal statute and regulations and maintains inventory, computer and hard copy records. The pharmacist will also be responsible for managing the pharmacy staff.

POSITION-SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:

• Fills prescriptions. Reviews therapy providing feed-back to providers in regard to rational pharmacy practice.
• Counsels patients and providers in the selection and administration of prescription and over the counter medications.
• Assures compliance with Federal and State Statute and Regulation
• Maintains appropriate inventory levels
• Supervises the work product of pharmacy technicians and pharmacy students.
• Operates the pharmacy software system and uses other software to prepare reports and retrieve information from on-line information service

• Education:         BS in Pharmacy, Graduate of an Accredited Pharmacy School or passed the foreign Pharmacy Equivalency Examination
• Licensure:         Valid Nebraska license
• Experience:       Minimum of six months of retail or hospital outpatient experience
• Expertise:         Computer literate
