Cutchall Management Company began in 1986 with the opening of PROGRESSIVE PARK, a company picnic facility on the Missouri River in Council Bluffs, IA.

CMC entered the Full-Service restaurant business in 1989 with the purchase of the JULIO’S franchise in Lincoln, NE. A total of three JULIO’S were developed and were later sold by CMC. In the same year, CMC acquired the POPEYE’S CHICKEN & BISCUITS franchise for the Metro Omaha Market. That chain grew into 12 locations in Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska and 1 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The POPEYE’S franchise was sold in February 2008.

In 1999 CMC acquired the franchise rights to develop SONIC DRIVE-INS in the Omaha area. In 2002 CMC purchased the existing SONIC DRIVE-INS in Lincoln and in 2003 the store in Council Bluffs, IA. In 2009 CMC acquired 9 corporate owned Sonics and currently we operate 16 locations in Nebraska and Iowa.

We opened FAMOUS DAVE’S in Wichita Kansas in 2004. The Omaha and Council Bluffs existing FAMOUS DAVE’S were purchased by CMC in 2007, and a new Famous Dave’s opened in July 2008 at 120th & L Street, for a total of 7 locations.

In 2005 CMC acquired the rights to develop Paradise Bakery & Café in Omaha, and in 2007 the rights to open Paradise Bakery & Café and Tin Star in Dallas, Texas. CMC currently operates 5 Paradise Bakery & Cafés, and 3 Tin Star Restaurants.

Burger Star In 2008, CMC developed the Burger Star concept. Currently CMC owns and operates over 36 restaurants under 5 brand names in four states, including Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Texas.
