As Staff Accountant in our Palfinger North America Finance/Accounting Service Center you will:
- Prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations, research and resolve reconciling items
- Prepare and post monthly general journal and accrual journal entries
- Prepare and reconcile bank accounts on a monthly basis and resolve reconciling items
- Review credit card statements and create the monthly journal entry to account for credit card expenses
- Work with PNAG locations to resolve system questions and corrections related to A/R and A/P
- Reconcile petty cash on a monthly basis and resolve reconciling items
- Provide backup assistance for other accounting functions
- Assist with quarterly and year-end financial audits
- Monitor actual results of financial data against plans, forecasts and budgets
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for review by all levels of management
- Perform other related duties as directed
A qualified candidate will have a thorough knowledge of accounting principles, a BS/BA in accounting and 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. MBA, CPA and IFRS experience is a plus.
