The primary duty of the Senior Ports Business Class Leader/Project Manager is to market and execute port development projects. Will work closely with the National Business Class Director for Ports and Maritime, Regional Transportation Director, and local managers to develop various size ports pursuits on the East or West Coasts. Encompasses developing leads, preproposal visitations, proposal preparation, presentations and negotiations. Conducts design development and contract document work sessions in conjunction with Project Managers, appropriate technical professionals, and other disciplines. Establishes client relations, and is involved with marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings. Participates in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance. Works with the Business/Accounting Manager or Project Controller and the Department Manager for project reviews and with company management on an as needed basis. Responsible for implementing QA/QC procedures. Typically supervises project teams and acts as a mentor for less experienced hiring managers. Bachelors Degree

10+ Years ports design management experience required with emphasis on container terminal planning and design.
