Basic Function
The primary focus of this position is to identify process improvements, develop ROI analysis, communicate the rollout of new functionality and ensure stakeholder readiness of new Human Resource Management System initiatives. The qualified person must be aware of current trends in HRMS with a focus on product development and the application of key technologies.
Scope
This position will serve as the primary point of contact on new HRIS initiatives and report to the HR Reporting Department manager.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
· Elicit requirements from business customers via interviews, site visits, etc. Critically evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
· Communicate the value of a project in terms used by the business community that will obtain leadership understanding and support of the project.
· Team with IT analysts in determining solutions to business development needs.
· Map new business processes to coincide with new technology.
· Prepare HRIS training documentation.
· Train end users in the use of new systems.
· Plan and execute the implementation plan for rolling out new functionality to the business.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree.
· Experience - 2-3 years working with and managing large HRIS projects.
· Communication - Must be able to effectively and confidently communicate in a professional manner to various levels of the organization. Must be able to perform group presentations of HRIS initiatives. Must project a positive and upbeat communication style.
· Problem Solving - Must be adept at identifying and understanding business problems that are relevant to our HRIS business initiatives. Must be able to quickly get to the root cause of issues. Must be able to provide practical and imaginative solutions that effectively leverage technology.
· Technical - Must have an understanding of the capabilities of large ERP system. Must have a general understanding of corporate data structures and relationships. Must be able to extract data out of databases to provide meaningful reporting to management.
· Organization Skills - Must be able to effectively manage IT project work and handle multiple concurrent assignments to meet aggressive schedules and timelines.
· Travel - Ability to travel less than 10% of the time.
