Two NIH/NEI-funded postdoctoral research associate positions are available immediately to study the functional mechanisms of alpha-crystallins in regulating stress-induced apoptosis and related human diseases (human eye diseases, cardiovascular diseases and brain diseases). Requires Ph.D. or M.D. with strong backgrpound in protein chemistry using SPR, FRET, Mass Spec, GST-Pulldown, Single Mol Tech and yeast two-hybrid selection to study protein-protein interactions.
