Full-time Lead Server

Immanuel Communities is seeking a Full-time Lead Server II to work at Deerfield, located at 13731 Hickman Road, Urbandale, IA 50323. Deerfield has 122 independent living apartment homes, 32 independent living patio homes, 20 assisted living, 24 residential care apartment homes and 30 long-term care/skilled nursing suites.

This position will pay up to $17.42/hour (straight pay/no tips). Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education. The schedule for this position will be 7:00am-2:00pm Monday and Friday, 4:00pm-7:00pm Wednesday and Sunday, plus other hours available up to 36 hours/week.

What You Will Do

The primary responsibilities of this job include working independently as a lead within the dining room services during daytime shifts. Prepares tables for meals, refilling containers, clearing dishes, handling food safely, attending to residents needs, taking phone orders, and ensuring other servers are completing tasks in a timely and appropriate manner. Facilitates a pleasant dining experience for the residents and guests who dine at the community.

Skills & Requirements

One (1) year dining room serving experience is required.
