SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Heartland Family Service is seeking a Data Evaluator to support our Behavioral Health services. The Evaluator will partner with internal and external resources to oversee critical components of program evaluation including design, assessment development and selection, participant sampling, data collection, data analysis, and dissemination of results.
Compensation: between $42,200 and $53,387 per year (salary is based upon total years of relevant experience)
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in Public Health, Psychology, business administration, or related field (completed or in progress)preferred.
- Specific knowledge of program evaluation, behavioral health, public health, or epidemiology preferred.
- Project management experience including collaboratively defining milestones, setting deadlines, delegating tasks, coordinating project meetings, and ensuring on time completion of work.
- Solid communication and presentation skills; ability to explain complex analyses and compelling insights to a non-technical audience.
- Experience consulting and/or collaborating with stakeholders or leaders in a professional manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design and implement comprehensive program evaluation that will assess the effectiveness of HFS’ behavioral health services.
- Develop and manage project plans by collaboratively defining milestones, setting deadlines, delegating tasks, coordinating project meetings, and ensuring on time completion of work.
- Oversee the selection, development, and implementation of surveys and assessments.
- Monitor data collection measures for CCBHC
- Guide best practice around workflows and assessment tool fidelity.
- Aid in the collection of data across program sites and communities to ensure data is collected in a reliable and valid manner.
- Report out on data collected by front line staff to external partners.
- Assist in the development, maintenance, and monitoring of a dashboard of key performance and quality metrics used to support program operations and evaluation.
- Determine strategies to analyze and interpret collected data ensuring that the analyses are appropriate to each research question.
- Create deliverables of study results (e.g., reports, presentations) ensuring that findings and insights are presented in a clear and consumable manner.
- Present project findings to team members, stakeholders, and other interested parties.
- Create, maintain and share as appropriate a dynamic self-care plan.
- Strive to make connections between the agency and the larger community whenever possible in order to contribute to the agency’s ongoing fundraising and friend-raising efforts.
