Key Responsibilities:
- Hospital Partnerships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with hospital administrators, transplant centers, and key stakeholders to enhance donation programs.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement hospital strategies to optimize organ and tissue donation processes.
- Compliance & Ethics: Ensure all activities align with ethical and regulatory standards set by UNOS, CMS, FDA, CDC, and internal policies.
- Leadership & Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the Hospital Services team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. Provide strategic direction, performance coaching, and professional development opportunities.
- Performance & Data Management: Monitor and analyze hospital and team performance data to drive strategic decision-making.
- Training & Development: Oversee staff training programs, ensuring alignment with best practices and professional growth initiatives.
- Operational Efficiency: Manage hospital contracts, reporting processes, and departmental staffing to maximize effectiveness.
- Innovation & Improvement: Identify opportunities for procedural enhancements and implement strategic initiatives to elevate performance.
- Budget Management: Develop and oversee the department’s budget, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a key representative in hospital and community settings, advocating for organ and tissue donation.
Skills and Abilities:
- Leadership Excellence: Proven ability to mentor, inspire, and manage high-performing teams, with at least 3 years of leadership experience in healthcare or a related field.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and decision-making skills, using data to drive improvements.
- Communication & Relationship-Building: Exceptional ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Continuous Learning: Passion for professional growth and staying current with industry trends.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Education, Health, Life Science, Nursing, or related field required. Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration preferred.
- Experience: At least 3 years of leadership experience in healthcare management, hospital administration, or a related field preferred.
- Certifications & Licensure: Valid driver’s license and personal auto insurance.
