Meat Wrapper-Torrington Main Street Market

Job Description:

Main Street Market in Torrington, Wyoming is looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Meat Wrapper to join the Legacy team! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, wrapping, weighing, and labeling meat products while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. You will work closely with butchers and other team members to ensure high-quality products and excellent customer service.

This position is full-time and comes with Legacy Coop's full-time benefits package including retirement, 401K, holiday, vacation and sick time, as well as competitive pay.

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

• Wrap, weigh, label, and price meat products for sale.
• Ensure all packaged meat meets safety and quality standards.
• Assist customers with inquiries about meat products and packaging.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, equipment, and tools.
• Follow food safety guidelines and store policies.
• Restock and rotate meat displays as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Previous experience in meat wrapping, food handling, and knowledge of cuts of meat a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work in a cold environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
