Your role on our team:

The Head of Credit Management-NA is responsible for the daily tasks related to the company's credit policy, collections, settlements, and timely release of approved orders, contributing to the overall integrity of the credit function. The role collaboratively aligns with both the Head of Business Administration (local finance & controlling), as well as the global business administrative teams to align strategies, and foster a unified approach to global credit management. The position works directly with the local sales and dealer development in reviewing, identifying, and interpreting sales/retail programs related to dealer accounts while ensuring compliance within program guidelines. 

 

  • Oversight of transactional processing and collections to include, but not limited to, customer correspondence, dealer inventory audits, subordination agreements, new dealer set-ups, and review, as well as controlled maintenance of customer master data and credit files.
  • Conducts functional / forecasting and analysis of unsettled retails, wholesale financing to include a thorough review and analysis of terms for consistency to defined programs.
  • Preforms strategic planning, including competitive benchmarking of terms and risk management.
  • Actively ensures seamless global alignment between credit management practices and strategic initiatives by driving collaborative innovation to streamline credit processes and enhance global operational efficiencies.
  • Performs regular review of AR aging reports and dealer statements (Electronic).
  • Completes quarterly Volume Bonus Calculation and communicates to dealers.
  • Performs AR month-end and year-end closing duties, watch list reporting, and ABS planning.
  • Credit line Maintenance / annual credit line review.
  • Records, reviews, and advises on quarterly dealer inventory audits.
     

Your profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years related business credit experience.
  • Strong understanding of financial statement analysis.
  • Previous SAP knowledge strongly preferred, not required.
  • Understanding of UCC lien filings.
  • Proven strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to identify inefficiencies and present effective alternatives.
  • Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative global environment.
  • Highly effective communication skills both written and oral up and down the organization.
  • Ability to multi-task and follow through with defined tasks with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient computer use including Outlook, Salesforce (CRM), HighRadius, Experian, Microsoft Office (MS365), and advanced excel skills.
