As a key member of the team, the Sr .NET Developer will work as an architect, designer, and developer on DMSi’s application development platform in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  1. Design, code, and test features and other application components to meet the needs of the business.
  2. Translate requirements into stable, working, high-performance web applications.
  3. Work on designing and developing various analytic reports and dashboards.
  4. Work with distributed teams to implement industry best practices and standards.
  5. Ensure that desktop, web and hybrid mobile applications work well across target platforms.
  6. Work closely with other developers across the enterprise to share experience and continuously improve our ability to deliver world-class experiences quickly.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Extensive knowledge of ASP.NET and C#.
Familiarity with the.NET framework and SQL Server.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
Experience in business intelligence tools, such as Qlik.
Experience designing and developing complex reports and dashboards using BI tools.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git or SVN.
Familiarity with architecture styles and APIs.
Knowledge of various design and architectural patterns, such as MVC.
Knowledge of software development methodologies and practices, especially Agile/iterative development processes.
Experience with server-side programming paradigms, constructs, and idioms.
Passionate about delivering high-quality user experience.
Ability to review requirements and articulate/propose alternate solutions to application architecture.
Excellent communication skills and enjoy being in a highly collaborative team environment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 5 years experience working with .NET frameworks.
BS or MS degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related technical field.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Normal office environment with use of computers and telephone systems; no unusual physical demands.
Travel as needed, including business air travel and car rental.
