Position Summary | Provides specialized & knowledgeable administrative support for the Speech-Language Pathology Director. Works as a liaison between the Speech-Language Pathology Department and organizations and committees at MMI, UNMC, Scottish Rite, Nebraska Medicine, and with physicians, nurses, and medical personnel. Coordinates the day-to-day administrative operations of the Speech-Language Pathology Department and the offsite clinics served. This includes maintaining budgets and reports, having oversight of departmental and interdepartmental projects, and supervising daily tasks of office assistant and volunteers. Oversees the clinical operations of the Speech-Language Pathology Department for all clinical providers. Ensures all clinical staff are appropriately licensed and credentialed. Maintains compliance of all staff in clinical practice. Reviews financial, billing reconciliation, and productivity reports monthly. |
