Position Summary | The iEXCEL Education Outcomes Specialist must have an educational background and experience consistent with conducting educational research design, methodology and assessment. The research focus for this position is based upon the iEXCEL vision to improve human performance and effectiveness in health care. This position requires skills in the assimilation of complex information and transforming educational and instructional content delivery into potential educational research deliverables and the assessment of results/outcomes. This position is responsible for identifying and applying for grants in the arena of human factors in healthcare, with a focus on seeking grants that focus on improve training and the outcomes of care. This position will: · Assist with the acceleration of educational research in iEXCEL · Support the Asst. Vice Chancellor, Advanced Statewide Simulation in establishing a research and data capture infrastructure · Liaison with faculty to help identify research opportunities · Assist with ensuring that educational research results are published in peer-reviewed publications and/or presentations. · Assist with iEXCEL staff development to stimulate outcomes assessment and research opportunities in healthcare simulation · Assist with maintaining accreditation for the iEXCEL program with writing of required documents |
