Position Summary
The UNMC College of Pharmacy and Nebraska Medicine invite applications for a 12-month, tenure leading faculty position in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Science. We seek an expert in Community-Focused Health Outcomes Research. This position offers unique and exciting opportunities to advance the profession through innovative scholarship, teaching, and service. The Department seeks a dynamic individual that has a passion for community and ambulatory care pharmacy, rural health and/or health services research. The successful applicant will join a team of productive researchers focused on improving patient health and outcomes through innovative community-based interventions and safety programs. It is expected that the successful applicant will establish an independent and extramurally supported research program. Teaching is expected and will include coordination and instruction of courses in the professional program and the Health Services Evaluation & Research track of the graduate program. The position will support the Profession, The College of Pharmacy, Nebraska Medicine, and Department through service to committees and professional organizations.
Required Qualifications
Candidates who share our commitment to innovative teaching and practice, exceptional research, and leadership are encouraged to apply. Successful applicants will possess a Ph.D., Pharm.D., or equivalent experience, and, if applicable be eligible for pharmacy practice licensure in Nebraska. Excellent written and verbal communication and personal skills are required.
