About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Commercial Banking - CRE to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying a target market for new business and developing a book of new business from those relationships. This includes negotiating, underwriting, and coordinating the closing of various major and complex corporate banking loans in compliance with the company's lending policies. The role also involves business development activities, engaging in the solicitation of new business, and promoting the company's products and services to establish a strong customer base. The candidate will be expected to maintain a customer database, compile and analyze market research data, and represent the company in various functions to enhance its image and develop additional business. Applicants for this position should have a Bachelor's degree in a business or financial industry-related field and at least 5 years' of experience in a similar role. A strong background in commercial real estate market is essential. The ideal candidate will have a basic lending background, experience in relationship development, and a good understanding of financial statement and tax return analysis. Knowledge of state and federal banking compliance regulations, as well as the company's operational policies, is required. The role demands an individual with exceptional analytical skills, extensive knowledge in relationship management, and the ability to work with senior management on the approval of financing requests.
