About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President/Managing Director for Debt Originations on the West Coast. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving real estate debt investment opportunities across various asset classes, including multifamily, student housing, mixed-use, industrial, and hotels. This role requires a professional with a strong network and relationships in the market, particularly with brokers and borrowers involved in mezzanine debt and preferred equity investments. The Senior Vice President/Managing Director will have direct origination responsibilities, focus on the West Coast region, and be involved in credit strategies, including mezzanine debt and the firm's credit fund series. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree, with a Master's in finance or real estate, or an MBA, preferred, and a minimum of 10 years' experience in commercial real estate lending, specifically in loan origination, negotiation, and asset management. The role demands a self-motivated individual with excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple responsibilities effectively. The position also involves supporting capital raising efforts, attending investment committee meetings, and mentoring junior professionals.
