About the Role

The Company is seeking a Policy Director to join its team. The successful candidate will be a key strategic leader, responsible for shaping and implementing the organization's policy and legislative programming. This role is pivotal in the mission to protect and advance reproductive rights, with a focus on building political power for reproductive freedom. The Policy Director will work closely with the Executive Director, staff, and partners to drive the organization's policy and legislative priorities, ensuring that the needs and voices of those most affected by reproductive or systemic injustice are at the center of all efforts. Applicants for the Policy Director position should have a minimum of 2-5 years' experience in legislative advocacy and issue-based campaigns, with a strong commitment to the values of the organization. The role requires at least 2 years of experience in managing staff or consultants, as well as exceptional written and verbal communication skills, experience in strategic planning, and strong organizational abilities. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to equitable practices, both in the workplace and in the field, and will be expected to engage in community activities and represent the organization at various events and coalitions.
