About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Mutual Fund Operations to lead and provide strategic direction for its affiliated transfer agent. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and directing service and operations functions, leading a team of professionals, and ensuring a superior client experience. This role requires a deep knowledge of transfer agent and intermediary operations processes, the ability to maintain a robust control environment, and experience in conducting due diligence reviews with key transfer agents and intermediaries. The Vice President will also be expected to participate in industry committees, present service strategy to the Fund Board, and prepare for the annual contract renewal process. A proactive approach to continuous improvement, the ability to lead the buildout of operational support for new products, and expertise in process automation are essential. Applicants for the Vice President, Mutual Fund Operations role at the company should be experienced operations professionals with a background in mutual fund operations, transfer agency function, or brokerage. A strong understanding of FINRA and SEC rules is required, along with excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills. A Series 7, 24, and 63 license is necessary, and a Bachelor's degree is required, with advanced degrees being preferred.
