About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President and Director of Athletics to lead and oversee all NCAA Division I intercollegiate athletic programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of ethics and integrity, articulating a clear vision for the future of athletics, and ensuring that all programs are in compliance with NCAA and conference regulations. This role requires a strategic leader with a national reputation, a strong commitment to the student-athlete experience, and the ability to navigate the complex landscape of intercollegiate athletics, including issues such as new legislation, media strategy, and revenue generation. The Vice President and Director of Athletics will also be tasked with fostering a diverse and inclusive environment, both in terms of the student-athlete population and the departmental and coaching staff. Applicants for the Vice President and Director of Athletics position at the company should have a bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) and a proven track record of administrative leadership in Division I college sports or equivalent management experience. The role demands a candidate with strong interpersonal and communication skills, a history of successful fundraising, and expertise in budget preparation and fiscal management. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of the rules and regulations governing intercollegiate athletics and a demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with Title IX and other relevant policies.
