About the Role
The Company is seeking a Career Coach to provide individualized job placement assistance to individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the intake process, conducting participant evaluations, and ensuring documentation compliance. This role involves close interaction with the Program Support Specialist, as well as greeting the public, handling general office support, and maintaining a high level of customer service. The Career Coach will also be involved in general program administration, including tracking grant-funded program goals, providing follow-up services, and maintaining participant information confidentiality. Applicants for the Career Coach position at the company should be dynamic, enthusiastic, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A minimum of three years' experience in employment and career counseling, with a preference for those who have worked with diverse socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds, is required. The role demands a goal-oriented individual with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with the local labor market, business community, and disability-related issues is essential. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Arts degree in a related field, be CPR and First Aid certified, and demonstrate a high level of integrity, business ethics, and adaptability.
