About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to join their team. The CHRO will be a key strategic partner, responsible for developing and executing the human resource strategy in alignment with the company's overall strategic plan. This role involves leading HR support across the entire employee life cycle, from front-line recruitment to onboarding, employee relations, retention activities, and compensation analytics. The successful candidate will also be tasked with ensuring that HR processes are adaptable to the changing needs of the company and industry, and will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility. Candidates for the CHRO position at the company should have a BS/BA degree, with an MBA or MA/MS in HR or a related field preferred. A minimum of 20 years of HR experience, including at least five years in an executive HR role, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in all HR functions and hold a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification. Experience in the Architecture/Engineering industry is also preferred. The role demands a leader with excellent communication, problem-solving, and ethical acumen, who can effectively manage a team and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. The CHRO will be expected to live in the Fairfax, VA area and maintain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance.
