Sonographers needed to work at a hospital

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sonographers to work at a hospital. Pay is $50/hr and you will get paid every Friday via direct deposit. Choose the shifts you want to work. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations, ensuring high-quality imaging while providing excellent patient care. The Sonographer will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate diagnostic information.

Duties
Perform sonographic examinations on patients, including but not limited to abdominal, pelvic, and obstetric scans.
Utilize appropriate equipment and techniques to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Maintain a thorough understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to accurately assess patient conditions.
Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure comfort throughout the examination process.
Adhere to aseptic techniques and safety protocols to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
Document findings and collaborate with physicians in interpreting results for further diagnosis and treatment planning.
Stay updated on advancements in sonography technology and techniques to enhance patient care and diagnostic accuracy.

Requirements
Must be licensed in DC
Completion of an accredited Sonography program or equivalent education in Diagnostic Radiology.
Proficiency in medical terminology related to sonography and patient care.
Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, particularly in relation to Ob/Gyn practices.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
Ability to demonstrate aseptic technique during procedures.
Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Commitment to providing compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism at all times.
