Job Overview
As a Progressive Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care for patients in the progressive care unit. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the well-being and recovery of patients under your care.
Duties
Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs and cardiac monitoring
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment plans, and self-care techniques
Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate interventions
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
Requirements
Must have minimum 1 year of documented PCU exp in work history.
28 bed PCU/IMCU with cardiac population.
Ratio 1:3-4. STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, C/P. Cardiac drips (Milrinone, Dobutamine, Pressors).
BLS/ACLS required.
