New Urgent Gastroenterologist Locums Job in Maryland Premium Rates 24 Hour Call Coverage

Dates of Coverage: December 26 - 28 ongoing sporadic coverage

Details/Requirements for Assignment :
Active Maryland license required or IMLC
Board Certification required
24 hour call 7:30am 7:30am
Sporadic coverage
Average caseload/workload: average service size 8-15 patients, 3-7 new consults per day on average. 1/3-1/2 day scoping (3-5 hours), up to half day rounding (3-4 hours)
ERCP and EUS is preferred, but not required
Typical duties/procedures: cases from day previous between 7:30am-10am in call allocated block time. Add on cases later or subsequently as schedule permits. Consults and follow ups during time in-between and after last case.
Anesthesia and usually Propofol for all cases. Cases performed in unit, ICU at bedside when necessary and in the OR occasionally after hours. Almost never in ED.
