Development and Giving Coordinator

Sacred Heart is looking for a professional, positive, and faithful person to be our part-time Development and Giving Coordinator. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, creating programs to enhance giving (i.e. tithing, ADA, 53rd Appeal, Endowment, Planned Giving) and to create the Annual Parish Report. This position also works to strengthen relationships between clergy and parishioners and parishioners and parish through events and acknowledgement of parishioner milestones.

Job Requirements

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with parishioners, Sacred Heart staff, and diocesan personnel
• Plan and implement annual parish tithing campaign
• Actively manage church and diocesan financial campaigns, collaborate with Priests to provide parish communication
• Increase endowment contributions through parishioner awareness and educational functions
• Determine best ways to communicate and encourage bilingual giving
• Coordinate small group social gatherings for Priests to connect with parishioners
• Create and distribute annual report
• Organize written correspondence for special donors, milestone birthdays, homebound, and condolence cards from Priests

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in business or communications preferred, with related experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Practicing Catholic strongly preferred
• Part-time, 20-25 hrs/week Monday-Friday
• In person position with schedule TBD
