Title: IT Senior Project Manager

Location: Nashville, TN (onsite)

Contract Duration: 6 months
Job Summary:

• Duties: Responsibilities include oversight for all phases of the software development lifecycle. Our collaborative approach to software development allows for an agile environment with focus on quality. Processes are aligned with ISO, CMMI-DEV, PMI, and IIBA best practices.
• Overview:
  • Oversee full SDLC - Software Development Life Cycle
  • Experience with agile and waterfall methodologies. - 75% Waterfall/ 25% Agile
  • PMO Framework Alignment
  • Multiple projects simultaneously
  • Track developer progress
  • Track schedule/cost variance
  • CMMI-DEV (Capability Maturity Model Integration) and EVM (Earned Value Management) experience. IT Project Management Healthcare (Medicare/Medicaid) experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and schedule management.
  • One or more active professional certifications: PMP certification from PMI - Highly preferred to be active CAPM certification Scrum Master certification SAFe Scaled Agile Certification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and schedule management.
  • Background in Healthcare / Medicare is needed.
  • Need to have strong job duration
  • Will need to know how to go about estimating how much a project will cost and build out a schedule.

Work Environment: Fast paced, dynamic environment which may require action and response 24X7 to support the technical business needs of the customer and where one must be flexible to changing priorities.
Job Requirements:

Required Experience: 5 years IT experience in a leadership capacity, including 2 years experience leading two or more concurrent project teams. Completion of the BCBSSC Training Program for Project Management may substitute for one year of experience.

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of job related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate's degree in any major.

Preferred Requirements: Bachelor's degree- Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.

Preferred Licenses and Certificates: PMP Certification
